What Does A Wendy's Global Next Gen Store Look Like?

Wendy's (WEN) followed suit by announcing a new shop design standard, which you can read about in The Wendy's Company (The) Report.

The square burger chain revealed the design for its new "Global Next Gen" restaurant on Wednesday, which will feature a pick-up window and parking area for delivery drivers from services like Uber Eats (UBER) - Get Uber Technologies Inc. Report and Doordash (DASH) - Get DoorDash Inc. Class A Report, as well as parking spaces and shelves for customers picking up mobile orders themselves and a galley-style kitchen that runs from the front to the back of the restaurant to maximise efficiency.

But that will be the standard for the new Wendy’s being built — the first Global Next Gen restaurant is expected to open in the spring of 2023 in New Albany, Ohio.
